Screwball comedy is a genre of comedy that is unconventional, goes in different directions, and behaves in different ways. 2 of the movies come from Columbia Pictures, but one is from Warner Bros.
I agree with the MPAA, some movies just can't be released especially the sexually related movies. Violence is part of America so I guess it's normal for us Americans, but viewed differently in other countries. No matter how they rate movies there is always going to be controversies.
Hays Code is the set of industry censorship guidelines that governed the production of the majority of United States motion pictures. One rule of the censorship was that nakedness and suggestive dances were prohibited. Hollywood had to follow these rules because they did not want to lower the moral standards for those who see the films. Movies today have changed a lot, like in some movies they ridicule religion, and some movies show excessive nudity, and some scenes almost seem like porn (New Friday the 13th).
